Work & Education
Sheldon Gaskell teaches courses in the First-Year Rhetoric and Writing program within the UCCS English department as well as creative writing in the Gateway Program Seminar. His teaching subject areas include writing, reading, and research processes along theories of stasis, transfer, and classical rhetoric. He prioritizes student-centered learning, student choice, deductive reasoning and critical thinking, creativity, and motivational philosophies in his teaching style.
