Michelle completed her M.A. in English from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2015. During that time she also worked as a graduate center writing consultant. She began teaching First Year Rhetoric and Writing at UCCS in 2016. Her research and pedagogical interests include classical rhetoric, the student experience of under-served populations, and study abroad. She has taught ENGL 1300: Rhetoric and Writing I - Stretch A and ENGL 1305: Rhetoric and Writing II - Stretch B
