Work

Leslie is the author of Writing and Experiential Education: Practical Activities and Lesson Plans to Enrich Learning. Her short stories have appeared in The Stoneslide Corrective, The Evening Street Review, The Broken Plate, Flash Fiction Funny, Picayune and South Philly Fiction. She contributed an article to Teaching Adventure Education: Best Practices and co-authored four texts on adventure sports. Leslie received her Bachelor of Arts in the Techniques & Application of Writing and Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College, Master of Science in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University-Mankato and Master of Fine Arts in Fiction from Rutgers University-Camden. She has taught at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, The College of New Jersey, William Paterson University, and Montclair State University. She is currently a Writing Coach for MBA candidates at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an instructor at the University of Colorado.
